"Artwork created as seen Through my Dreaming Eyes", by Patricia de Jong
"Through my Dreaming Eyes" was born out of anonymously sharing the way I see the world through my eyes at first, always daydreaming with my head in the clouds.
I let myself be inspired by the beauty I notice in the smallest things around me.
I'm a Dutch native, now located in Killarney, co. Kerry and am heavily influenced by the beautiful nature here in the South-West of Ireland. The many majestic mountain ranges feature in some my artwork in a more abstracted version, accompanied by dramatic skies and dreamlike atmosphere.
I would like for my art to offer a moment of escape in someone’s busy day. A moment of joy or a moment to take a deep breath and get lost in a little imaginary world or a memory kept dear to the viewer's heart.
Picking up a paint brush is exactly that to me: A little escape from daily life and a moment to breathe calmly and see the magic appear at the touch of a paintbrush.
All listed artworks are original and one of a kind and mainly created with acrylic paints and I have been selling my artwork since 2020.

I have also had the opportunity to create numerous commissions for a number of clients, which have been a true honour to create. Some were created as gifts with deep personal meaning and others were created to adorn my client's own favourite spaces.
